Highlights of the News

Instead of RINOs, maybe we should call them bison.ITEM 1AP reported, “A section of the $1.7 trillion spending bill passed Friday has been billed as a dramatic step toward shoring up retirement accounts of millions of U.S. workers. But the real windfall may go to a far more secure group: the financial services industry.

“The retirement savings measure labeled Secure 2.0 would reset how people enroll in retirement plans — from requiring them to opt into plans, to requiring them to opt out. The provision is designed to ensure greater participation.”

I hope someone sues because forcing people to give their money to private organizations is just plain wrong.

This is a continuation of the evil of Obamacare and mandated vaccination. We created our government to protect our rights. This one swipes them. End the theft of money and liberty.

ITEM 2: AP got the motive right.

This is to provide a windfall for Wall Street traders. Politicians don’t care about your retirement. They care about their bank accounts.

ITEM 3Billboard reported, “‘Charlie Brown Christmas’ Soundtrack Hits No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart

“It’s a new peak for Vince Guaraldi Trio’s classic holiday jazz set, first released in 1965.”

It didn’t make Billboard’s charts until 1987 — 22 years after its release. It also hit No. 2 16 years ago.

ITEM 4News Max reported, “Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, are still seething over the Senate passing last week’s $1.7 trillion omnibus bill, and apparently not waiting until 2023 to negotiate terms for such a massive spending initiative.

“And from the two senators’ perspective, the brunt of blame lies squarely on Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.”

RINOs never compromise with Republicans because RINOs stand by their principles of letting Democrats win because RINOs really don’t like conservatism. It isn’t cool.

Vote Republican, get knifed by RINOs.

ITEM 5AP reported, “The German government said Friday it is formally suspending export credit and investment guarantees for business in Iran in the wake of authorities’ crackdown on protests.”

The story also said, “Export credit guarantees protect German companies from losses when exports aren’t paid for. Investment guarantees are granted to protect direct investments by German companies from political risk in the countries where they are made.”

So Germany was subsidizing business with Iran, supporting a regime whose stated goal for 43 years has been “death to America.”

Meanwhile, American soldiers are sworn to die for Germany under the NATO treaty.

ITEM 6UPI reported, “More migrants were dropped from buses in frigid weather in front of Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence in Washington, D.C, on Christmas Eve.”

Did she take them in or isn’t she Christian?

ITEM 7CNN reported, “Five people were arrested Saturday in connection with the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old the previous night at Minnesota’s Mall of America, the largest shopping center in the US, police said.”

The 5 people were two 18-year-od men and three 17-year-old men. The victim was a 19-year-old black man.

This was a gang shooting. The perps went to White Castle afterward. They did this at the Mall of America. The singing group war was right. The World IS A Ghetto now.

ITEM 8Illinois Policy reported, “Illinois has the 6th-highest number of residents buying their meals with nutrition benefits, and the number grew almost 11% from a year earlier.

“More than 2 million low-income Illinoisans will put holiday dinner on the table with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits this December, the sixth most per capita nationwide.”

Nearly 1 in 6 people in Illinois are on food stamps.

By order of their impoverishment, the five states ranked above Illinois are New Mexico, Mississippi, West Virginia, Oregon, and Oklahoma.

The states with the smallest percentage of people on the government’s teat are New Hampshire and North Dakota. Getting people to rely on government to eat is a hallmark of totalitarianism because this enables government to starve people into submission.

ITEM 9Gateway Pundit reported, “Judge Peter Thompson Rules Elections with Broken Machines in 60% of Precincts and No Chain of Custody for Ballots Are Free, Fair and Certifiable.”

And so, Kari Lake’s lawsuit is drowned because no one in the Republican Party dares challenge the Biden regime and the intelligence community that created it.

They just say she was a flawed candidate, unlike that dapper and articulate John Fetterman.

ITEM 10Law and Crime reported, “Florida Man Beat Roommate’s Raccoon with Hammer, Threatened to Kill Neighbor with Sewing Needle: Sheriff.”

OK, Florida Man is a psycho, but what about his roommate? Who keeps a raccoon as a pet?

ITEM 11Speaking of psychos, AP reported, “A federal judge in Florida has refused to throw out criminal charges against Andrew Gillum, disagreeing with the former Democratic gubernatorial nominee’s assertions that he was the victim of selective prosecution because he was a black candidate for governor.”

Ah, the race card.

Paragraph 8, “Then, in March 2020, Gillum was found intoxicated and unconscious in a hotel room with two men, including one who works as a male escort. Two days later he entered a rehabilitation center, and later did a television interview in which he said he’s bisexual.”

He should have played the LGBT card.

ITEM 12Post Millennial reported, “Two administrators at a top high school have come under fire after they were discovered to have been intentionally withholding academic achievement awards from the students who earned them and their parents in the name of “equity,” impacting college admissions.

“A disgruntled parent of a Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology student in Fairfax County, Virginia, uncovered the scandal after her son, who scored within the top 3 percent of students in the country, did not receive recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation despite qualifying for the award. The National Merit awards provide a boost to many students as they submit their college applications, and opens doors to at least 800 Special Scholarships from corporate sponsors, reported the New York Post.”

Schools are not about education. They are about indoctrination.

ITEM 13: The IRS announced it will ignore the law.

The press release stated, “The Internal Revenue Service today announced a delay in reporting thresholds for third-party settlement organizations set to take effect for the upcoming tax filing season.

“As a result of this delay, third-party settlement organizations will not be required to report tax year 2022 transactions on a Form 1099-K to the IRS or the payee for the lower, $600 threshold amount enacted as part of the American Rescue Plan of 2021.

“As part of this, the IRS released guidance today outlining that calendar year 2022 will be a transition period for implementation of the lowered threshold reporting for third-party settlement organizations (TPSOs) that would have generated Form 1099-Ks for taxpayers.”

The law says $600.

The IRS is above the law.

So much for the rule of law.

ITEM 14Breitbart reported, “British security chiefs are warning Communist China could use a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) to monitor and control citizens – while the British state is itself working on a CBDC.”

Excellent lead.

The chief import from Red China in the Anglosphere is Maoism.

ITEM 15Bloomberg reported, “Florida, which has seen a surge in migrants since the onset of the pandemic, was the state with the fastest-growing population in 2022, taking top spot for the first time since 1957, Census Bureau data show.”

By migrants, Mini Mike means escapees from socialist states such as New York and California.

FINALLY, the world is a ghetto.

The message of Christmas is giving.

The message of government is taking.
